Sebring Fire Fighters are active in the community
Sebring Fire Fighters compete in the Chili Cook-off down town Sebring
The Sebring Firefighters take their off time to support local events. 
The Crazy Pepper Chili Cook Off is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Highlands County.
Sebring Fire Department has competed in this event for the past years taking first place in 2014 2nd place in 2015 and 1st place in 2019

The Sebring Fire fighters Joined other first responders for the annual Pig Fest Jan 9th and 10th 2015.

The Fireman INC. have events through out the year to raise money for school athletics and other youth programs.
The Sebring fire fighters won first place in ribs category and third place in boston butt at the annual Pig Fest Jan 9th and 10th 2015.
Team members cooked over a wood fire for 12 hours.
The team consisted of off duty members of the Sebring Fire department.
April 25,2015 Sebring fire fighters took there own personal time to help raise money for Morgan with the AMVets Cornhole tournament.
Morgan, the 6-year old daughter of a Highlands County deputy sheriff, sustained multiple eye and head injuries as a result of an unfortunate incident involving a retired police K-9. She had emergency surgery at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg immediately following the incident. Future surgeries are needed to correct several existing problems, most of which are not covered by insurance as they are considered “cosmetic.”
