Special Pick-Ups
The City will pick up 2 cubic yards of extraordinary waste per month in addition to your residential trash service and yard waste pick up. This includes white goods (appliances) and items requiring additional management due to its bulk. Extraordinary waste is collected as a "Special Pick-Up" and must be scheduled in advance by calling 471-5100 or 471-5109.
The pick up of extraordinary waste is included in the residential fee which appears on your property tax bill as an ad valorem assessment for sanitation services. Any extraordinary waste over and above the 2 cubic yard limit must be removed by the property owner unless prior arrangements have been made and the established fee for excess waste has been paid in full.
