The City of Sebring yard waste collection services approximately 5,400 residents per year. It has 2 clam bucket trucks, and 2 operators. These trucks average about 1,000 pickups, and approximately 3,000 tons of yard waste per month. This yard waste is taken to the city’s landfill, where it is ground up for mulch and disposed of. The yard waste division’s hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday though Friday.

The City of Sebring will pick up 4 clam buckets of yard trash from each residential house every 2 weeks. The city is divided into 4 residential zones. Zone 1 and zone 3 will be picked up the 1st and 3rd week of each month, while zone 2 and zone 4 will be picked the 2nd and 4th week of each month. View the Yard Trash Zone Map (PDF).
Note: These schedules are subject to delays based on weather or other unforeseen issues. Should delays occur, we ask for your patience while we work to get back on schedule.
Please keep residential house garbage and debris separate from the leaves, branches and lawn clippings of the yard waste. Small items like leaves, grass clippings, and pine needles should be bagged for curbside pick up. Larger branches and limbs (no more than 6 feet in length and no larger than 6 inches in diameter) may be piled at curbside for pickup.
